Studies indicate that companies who are diverse are typically more profitable and most capable of being able to deliver on complex business needs. But what does that really mean? How does race play itself out in organizations, and why is diverse leadership truly important?
In this session on building diverse leadership, alumnus Evan Frazier from The Advanced Leadership Institute will cover these topics and offer real-life examples of efforts effecting change both within and outside of the hospitality industry. Mr. Frazier will also discuss why not just mentorship but also sponsorship is critical to advancing diverse executive leadership. The bottom line is that, in most cases, building diverse leadership will not simply happen on its own: Companies need to be deliberate in creating an environment that values differences and fosters sustainable diverse leadership at all levels.
