Through eCornell, Cornell University has joined forces with the National Education Equity Lab and Title I high schools to bring college-credit-bearing courses to underserved students who face barriers to higher education. Many of these students come from communities with limited access to advanced coursework, lack exposure to college-level experiences, and face significant financial and systemic obstacles. By offering Cornell courses with the support of high school teachers, this program helps bridge the opportunity gap, providing students a pathway to higher education with the scaffolding they need to build the skills, confidence and resilience to succeed academically and professionally.

Corporations, non-profits, community organizations, and educational foundations can collaborate with funding to expand access, assist in leveling the playing field for underserved students, and help create a more equitable education system.

Advance Educational Equity
Provide students from underserved high schools with free access to Cornell’s credit-bearing courses, equipping them with early career skills, increasing their exposure to higher education, and building confidence in their academic abilities.

Support Title I High Schools
Corporate and philanthropic partners have an opportunity to collaborate with Cornell to highlight their commitment to educational equity and economic mobility.

Build Pathways To Cornell
While the primary goal is to advance educational equity everywhere, this program also supports Cornell's initiatives to engage underserved high schools, build awareness of Cornell, and identify high-potential students for recruitment.
