Jennifer I. Lee, M.D., is Assistant Dean for Medical Education Operations and Accreditation as well as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Weill Department of Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Lee earned her M.D. degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed her combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. After dual board certification, she maintains her board certification in Internal Medicine and is an academic hospitalist in the Division of General Internal Medicine, where she serves as Associate Chief for Continuous Quality Improvement.

Dr. Lee’s passion is working with and mentoring students, trainees, and faculty in systems improvement, building a pathway for promotion through academic quality improvement (QI) initiatives and research. Over the past 15 years at Weill Cornell Medicine, she has developed numerous programs and several departmental committees across the College to build and cultivate a proactive culture of safety.

In 2016, Dr. Lee spearheaded the development of the Weill Cornell Medicine QI Academy (QIA-WCM) for faculty to achieve academic scholarship through the design and implementation of high-impact, sustainable projects aimed at improving clinical care. She served as the department’s inaugural Vice Chair of Quality and Patient Safety from 2016 to 2025.

Nationally, Dr. Lee was a recipient of the American Association of Medical College’s Learning Health Systems Research Award in recognition of the interdivisional and interdisciplinary programs she created for the Weill Department of Medicine and has served on the Hospital Quality and Patient Safety Committee for the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Lee is core faculty and coach in the American College of Physicians’ Center for Quality. She is also on the American Medical Association’s Specialty and Service Society Rules Committee as well as a member of the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Measurement Advisory Panel. Dr. Lee is past President of the Korean American Medical Association and has served on their Board of Directors since 2021. Internationally, she is adjunct professor at Yonsei University Hospital and has held QI workshops and lectures for trainees and faculty in Korea, Australia, and New Zealand.

Colleen Lee is the Director of Nursing and Patient Safety at Weill Cornell Medicine Physician Organization, where she has worked since 2017. Ms. Lee has held various roles in quality and patient safety since 2010. She was an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, and held a faculty appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine while working as the Maternal-Perinatal Patient Safety Officer at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Ms. Lee is a member of the American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety and the American Nurses Association.
Ms. Lee’s professional interests include using simulation and team training to improve patient outcomes, and she holds the Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification. She has contributed to articles and chapters on a variety of topics, including human factors engineering and interprofessional simulation education to impact patient safety. Most recently, Ms. Lee attained the Certified Praesidium Guardian credential to highlight her work to prevent sexual misconduct as related to patient care. She received her Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Villanova University, Pennsylvania, and her Master’s degree from Molloy University, New York.

Robert Kim, M.D., was born in Ontario, Canada, but traveled to the U.S. for his education. Dr. Kim received his Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, and his M.D. degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Finally, Dr. Kim completed his Cardiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and joined the faculty full time in 2007. He serves as Director of Consultative Cardiology.
Dr. Kim practices General Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College campus in New York City. His practice includes patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease and its complications, valvular heart conditions, cardiomyopathies, and those who have undergone heart surgery or interventional procedures. Dr. Kim works in close affiliation with all of the physicians in the Division of Cardiology, including subspecialists in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization, and Non-Invasive Testing.
Dr. Kim teaches the second-year medical students a pathophysiology-based course on cardiovascular disease and is the co-founder of the Quality Improvement Academy at Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Manjil Chatterji, M.D., is the Chief Quality Officer for Weill Cornell Medicine and Division Chief of Abdominal and Pelvic Imaging in the Department of Radiology. His clinical expertise is focused in liver, pancreas, bowel, and prostate imaging. He joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2020 as Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology.
Dr. Chatterji is the elected Radiology representative to the Weill Cornell General Faculty Council. Areas of expertise include healthcare economics as well as serving as an ACR councilor and on the ACR economics subcommittee. In addition, Dr. Chatterji serves as representative to the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services development of MACRA, a program that champions cost and quality in medicine.
